THE BODY SHOP*

Christmas is officially around the corner! Today, I'm posting my first Christmas themed post this year... As soon as December comes along, I get so excited to pop into my local Body Shop and buy tons of festive products for friends, family (and myself, of course)! This year I was lucky enough to have received some amazing goodies that I want to share with you all.

Firstly, I got given this frosted plum kit. I want to start by pointing out that I love the packaging in itself, as it has a metallic/ tin feel, it's a great form of storage- I always end up reusing this kind of stuff! It's £17.00 and I think it's well worth the money...

It contains 4 miniatures, and although smaller than the original size, still last a very long time. I know this because last year I had some similar products given to me by a lovely friend. In it, you receive a shower gel, a shimmer lotion, a body butter and a sugar scrub. I'm obsessed with this scent. It's subtle yet noticeable. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of super sickly smells, but this is really fresh with a hint of sweetness to it.

I then received this scrub, which is a larger version of the miniature one. What I love about this, is that it really does what it's supposed to. I find that some scrubs aren't scrubby enough and others are too harsh on my skin, but this one is the perfect combination. It leaves my skin feeling really smooth. In fact, I really like every scrub I've ever used from The Body Shop and I hope to try the Fuji Green Tea body scrub soon, too. This is £15.

Ironic how my top matches the packaging, isn't it? I promise, I didn't deliberately match them, haha! So, this item is known as a 'sparkler'. I initially had no idea what it was and to be honest, I didn't think much of it. However, after looking into it, I discovered that it could be used on your hair and body as a glitter. I think this so cool, original and above all, Christmassy! Glitter and sparkles all the way! This product costs £14.

This little cutie is the newest addition to my family. I was given this sponge and was really happy when I saw it. Last year, I received Perry, the penguin (read last years Christmas post here). This robin is £4. I'm going to put it out there, I never used Perry. He was too cute to use as a body sponge, so instead I put him on my tree and this year, robin will be joining him, haha!

I'm more of a shower girl than bath one, for sure. But I do love my bath bombs. I got these bath fizzers, and I love them! These fizzers are so much easier to use than your ordinary bath bomb as they're broken into different pieces (so last longer, too). I also noticed how my skin felt really nourished afterwards- this really surprised me. They're £12, which may seem pricey, but the tubs contain 10 fizzers so could (potentially) last 10 baths.

I then received this simple 'swinging silver' eye shadow pallet. They contain 4 different, staple colours and are really pigmented so you only need a little bit to go a long way. It retails at £16.

Finally, I got two stunning nail polish shades, both in gold. I haven't tried them yet but will definitely be doing so soon, and will probably post a picture on my Instagram, so keep a look out for that... These are £5 each!

Anyway, that's it for this post, girls. I absolutely adore The Body Shop and, like I said, get so excited when their Christmas range comes out! They sell so many products that make great presents so it's well worth checking out!
