THE BODY SHOP*

I love face masks! I feel like they're a really nice thing to do once or twice a week for a deeply cleansing and revitalising treatment. When I found out that The Body Shop were coming up with an 'at home facial mask experience' I could not wait to get my hands on it and try it out... Each mask retails at £15 which I think is so so so affordable You could also purchase their super soft brush which is £8 but definitely worth every penny. It makes the appliance a whole lot easier and less messy! There are 5 different masks in this range, you can see what I think of them here...

Firstly we have Ethiopian Honey. This is super nourishing, hydrating and leaves your skin feeling silky smooth! All of these are vegetarian and specially formulated without paraffin, parabens, silicone or mineral oils. Instead, this is packed full of skin friendly nutrients and is inspired by African healing. Initially, it looked very greasy and sticky formula, but doesn't feel it at all. In fact, it has a very cooling and lightweight sensation. It also smells absolutely heavenly which is always a bonus. A little goes a very long way with these masks so they lasts a long time! It also leaves your skin looking glowy and youthful!

The next mask is inspired by the Amazonian tribes. It's a beautiful vibrant pink colour and is very exfoliating which helps transform dull, tired skin, making it appear more vibrant. Again, it's super hydrating and helps balance out dry skin. It's perfect if you're looking for radiance, or just clear skin in general!

This mask is Ayurvedic inspired and is probably my favourite of them all as it's perfect for my oily, blackhead prone skin. I like to use this on my T zone to help reduce the appearance of my pores and to help draw out any impurities that are clogging my skin.  This had a slight tingling sensation on my skin as it removed excess oil from my T zone. This really is the kind of mask you'd have at the spa, but you can do it at home over and over again for a fraction of the price!

Then, we have this British Rose mask which, as the name suggests, smells of roses. It's subtle but really refreshing and is a continuation of the rest of their British Rose line. This again left my skin super smooth and there was no redness after I used it. It's very gentle, so great for sensitive skin! It's translucent when on the skin and again very lightweight.

Finally, there's this mask inspired by Chinese traditions. This definitely helps to brighten your skin and even out your skin tone. This is different to any face mask I've ever tried it has a relatively creamy consistency whilst also having exfoliating properties. It illuminates your skin, helping to reveal plumper, younger looking skin. You only need a thin layer for it to work, once again, meaning it will last longer.

That's everything for this post guys! I absolutely love these masks, they're amazing!! It's totally worth the price and the packaging is absolutely stunning. They all smell amazing and last a considerable time. Thank you for reading,

Rikki xx
